FORM SCORE
30 points maximum
What it measures:
How well the player has performed recently
How it's calculated:
- FPL gives each player a "form" number (e.g., 5.2, 3.8, 1.5)
- This is their average points over the last few gameweeks
- We multiply by 3 to get a score out of 30
Examples:
Why it matters: A player in good form is likely to continue scoring points!
VALUE SCORE
25 points maximum
What it measures:
How many points you get per ยฃ million spent
How it's calculated:
Value Score = Points per Million ร 2 (capped at 25)
Examples:
Why it matters: You want the most bang for your buck! A cheaper player with good points is gold!
FIXTURE SCORE
25 points maximum
What it measures:
How easy the player's upcoming matches are
How it's calculated:
- FPL rates each fixture from 1 (easiest) to 5 (hardest)
- We look at the next 5 fixtures and average the difficulty
- Lower difficulty = Higher score!
Fixture Score = 25 - ((2.4 - 1) ร 6.25) = 16.25 points
Examples:
Why it matters: Players score more against weaker teams. Good fixtures = more points!
ICT INDEX SCORE
20 points maximum
What it measures:
FPL's official quality rating
What is ICT?
FPL calculates this from 40+ in-game stats!
How it's calculated:
Examples:
Why it matters: High ICT means the player is involved in the game and likely to get points!
